Call for Participation: International Exchange Project “ROOTS & ROUTES Experience 2025”

With this call, we would like to invite you to participate in the international exchange project “ROOTS & ROUTES Experience 2025.”

Where? Heek and Cologne, Germany
When? July 14–31, 2025
Who? Dancers, musicians, actresses, media and spoken word artists aged 18 to 26, with some experience in their artistic field and the ability to communicate in English.
How much? All expenses are covered by the organizers.
What’s included? Travel from the sending organization’s location (Ljubljana – Heek/Cologne), full accommodation (3 meals a day + water), and all project-related costs.
Application deadline: June 4, 2025, by 17:00

All selected participants will receive a detailed info pack including travel instructions, a checklist, and additional details.

What is the project about?
RRXP25 focuses on the creation of a large transdisciplinary performance shaped by the ideas and concerns of all participants. During the international preparatory meeting (June 13–15), delegates from all partner countries will come together to decide on the theme and title of the final performance.

RRXP25 is a collective project.
Collaborative creation takes priority over solo work. RRXP25 is not the right place to experiment with entirely new art forms you haven't worked in before (other exchanges are better suited for that). Ideally, you should already have some experience in the art field you want to focus on during RRXP25.

What is ROOTS & ROUTES?
