Re_humanization IV

xx MUSICA FEMINA

Slovenia
Music performance

The Re_humanization concert cycle offers young artists a possibility to create and publicly perform original work and encourages the development of new art collectives that would open spaces to establish and exchange progressive creative processes. This year’s interdisciplinary performance under the guidance of Katja Oberlintner and Ina Puntar focuses on teamwork based on dialogue and connections among the participants. By exploring through “how” to be together, they open the parameters and the context of shaping the collective and the individual.  Their key aspects are flexibility and the (non-)transformation of individuals and internal connections through which they paint a group self-portrait that wishes to electrify the individual as well as the common space.

The Katja Oberlintner and Ina Puntar duo has its roots in the long friendship of the two women, who find the idea of collective creating extremely sensible and urgent. Their artistic integration began in debating art works and acts, concerts and movements – in particular, they were brought together on the topic of women and their position in the current social situation. They also share using their voices as modes of expression in their creative work. For some time, they have been building a shared space, while their artistic cooperation in the KAIN collective began in 2017.
