Alicja Zebrowska

Alicja Zebrowska was born in 1956 in Zakopane, Poland. She studied at the Art Institute of Lublin University, receiving a degree in sculpture. For two years she was a visiting student at the Academy of Applied Arts in Vienna, Sculpture Department, receiving her Master's from the Wander Bertoni Studio. Her work has been shown in Poland, the UK, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, France, Yugoslavia, and presented in numerous solo shows (e.g. at the Academy of Applied Arts, Vienna; the Polish Sculpture Centre, Oronsko; the Contemporary Art Centre, Warsaw), and group shows (e.g. at the 3rd Prague Biennial; the Centre for Contemporary Art LAZNIA, Gdansk).
