Magdalena Buchczyk

Magdalena Buchczyk (she/her)  is a Junior Professor in social anthropology at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Co-Chair of TRACTS COST Action. Her ethnographic research and curatorial practice addresses museum collections from Eastern and Southern Europe through a critical lens of heritage studies and material culture. Her scholarly interests revolve around material and visual culture, collection ethnography, memory, heritage politics and activism, intangible heritage, making and knowledge production, learning, affect, and care.
