Malika B (Booker)

Malika B (Booker) is a British writer of Guyanese and Grenadian parentage whose work spans literature, education and cross-arts. She has made numerous international appearances including Rome Poetry Festival and Worlds Stories Festival (Dublin). Her work has been published in IC3: The Penguin Anthology of New Black Writing, the Fire People and Bittersweet. Commissions in 2001 include: Catwalk, a play on the British fashion industry to be produced by NITRO, a storytelling project with the National Theatre and a poetry film project to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Royal Festival Hall.
