Nada Žgank
A freelance photographer, Nada Žgank (1967) lives and works in Ljubljana. She graduated in Agronomy from the Biotechnical Faculty at the University of Ljubljana in 1995. During her studies, she participated as a photographer on a volunteer basis in the work in Roma communities in Slovenia. As a documentary photographer, she in particular covers social issues, as well as culture and art. She has also been a regular collaborator at various festivals (City of Women, Exodos, Ex Ponto, Moving Cake) and thereby in close contact with the performing arts. Her photos have been published in the principal Slovenian printed media (Muska, Delo, Dnevnik, Mladina, Maska). Žgank’s work has been presented at a number of solo and group exhibitions.
