Tamara Podlesnik
Tamara Podlesnik is a literary comparatist, and the author of several scientific papers as well as literary texts. She completed her PhD studies in theoretical psychoanalysis and feminism in 2020. Her research is focused on the history of women in the Late Middle Ages, and the theory of femininity through a comparative reading of medieval holy bodies and modern hysterical and anorexic bodies. She merges feminist theory and women’s history with psychoanalysis, literature, and the subversive character of mystic discourse; her studies of mystic poetry and its disruptive effect on European history and new feminisms are opening new perspectives on – and new possibilities for – a different perception of women, femininity, and women’s desire.
