Alexis O’Hara

In this »speed-up« workshop, Alexis O’Hara will guide participants in the direction and active production
of unusual sounds, encouraging them to bring along various noisy tools which they normally don’t
workshops /
perceive as musical instruments (such as kitchen and office machinery, video games, telephones, etc.).
To begin, she will hold vocal exercises with the participants, and then invite them to explore choreography
in relation to the »instruments« brought in. Ultimately Alexis O’Hara will produce a composition
from the selected materials and present it live at the workshop’s end.
