Carole Roussopoulos, Delphine Seyrig, Ioana Wieder and Nadja Ringart: Maso and Miso Go Boating

FR, 1976, 55′, Eng. sub., Slo. sub.

“On 30 December 1975, after watching Bernard Pivot’s programme entitled “Women’s Year ... thank goodness it’s over” on Channel 2, we had an overwhelming need to present our own point of view, to reply,” said the directors.

Carole Roussopoulos and Delphine Seyrig: S.C.U.M. Manifesto 1967

FR, 1976, 27′25′′, Eng. sub., Slo. sub.

S.C.U.M. Manifesto stages a reading of Valerie Solanas’ eponymous 1967 manifesto. As news images of male-dominated world events flicker across the television screen, Delphine Seyrig disseminates Valerie Solanas’s theses on men – who, according to the manifesto, are both biologically incomplete and driven by vagina envy.

Anne Faisandier, Ioana Wieder, Claire Atherton, Nadja Ringart, Claire Auzias, Marie-Jo Dhavernas, Catherine Deudon and Liliane Kandel: Racists Are Not Our Mates, Nor Are Rapists

FR, 1986, 23′10′′, Slo. sub.

After a series of rapes in broad daylight in 1985, a demonstration takes place. The press blames the rapes on the “mob born from immigration”, the Muslims. The eight women who directed this documentary want to testify and fight sexism. They decide to meet with anti-racist activists Harlem Désir, Adil Jazouli and Sami Nair.
