Not For Sale: A Video History of the Feminist Art Movement in the United States

In 1992 Laura Cottingham began researching the history of the
Feminist Art Movement in the United States during the seventies. From
‘92 to ‘95 she interviewed artists and activists throughout the US
regarding the art and activities that had coalesced alongside and in
response to the Women’s Liberation Movement. This tape, which is still
in production and is expected to be released as a 90-minute feature in
late 1997, is the first thirty minutes of “Not For Sale”.
