The Physical Voice / Workshop by Nicole Beutler

Choreographer/theatremaker Nicole Beutler will work with the participants on basic principles that surround her current work and research: the physicalisation and embodiment of the voice, the translation of movement qualities into qualities of speech, the idea of text as physical material. She proposes a work on text and texture as literal and metaphorical principles for movement (of thought and body). Essential in her work is also the idea that the solo exists only from within a group-condition and a reference to musical composition tactics.
