Spominjanje za jutri / Remembering for tomorrow

"Spominjanje za jutri" is an art exhibition featuring works by Vesna Bukovec and Ana Čigon, two prominent Slovenian artists known for their contributions to feminist art and activism. The exhibition is scheduled to open on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 7:00 PM in Galerija Alkatraz, located within AKC Metelkova mesto in Ljubljana. A guided tour of the exhibition will precede the opening at 6:00 PM. ​

This exhibition is part of the 26th International Feminist and Queer Festival Red Dawns (Rdeče zore) and is organized in collaboration with the City of Women (Mesto žensk). It aims to highlight the significant contributions of both artists in emphasizing the importance of feminist themes in society and their active roles in festivals like Red Dawns and the City of Women. The exhibition serves as a tribute to their artistic and activist endeavors, marking the anniversaries of these festivals. ​
