A World Without Women (Svet bez žena)

The performance will be followed by a discussion on Gender equality in culture with Maja Pelević, Olga Dimitrijević, Jasna Jasna Žmak and Teja Reba. 

The play starts by questioning the position of women in a local theater and opens up a space for thinking about some future emancipatory policies. The script consists of documentary materials, interviews with theater directors on gender equality, as well as various theoretical feminist texts.

The performance “A World Without Women” (Svet bez žena) scrutinizes the representation of women, abuse, power relation and sexism, in the field of theatre.
