Natalie Jeremijenko

Natalie Jeremijenko (1966) is an engineer, artist, and one of the pioneers of digital technology in the USA. After finishing her Ph.D. in electrical engineering (University of Queensland), she did postdoctoral studies at the Computer Science Department at NYU. She was named one of the top one hundred young innovators by the MIT Technology Review, and one of the 40 most influential designers by I.D. Magazine. Her works have been presented by the Guggenheim Museum (New York), the Rotterdam Film Festival (2000), the Whitney Biennial ‘97, Documenta ‘97, Ars Electronic prix ‘96, and elsewhere. Her research initiatives include: toy design (she is also a mother of four), eco-informatics, smart building design, and political action design.
