Gotharama

“Few performers, except maybe Nick Cave, awaken the gothic as well as she.” - Herald Sun

“Many whisper that Moira Finucane is in league with the dark forces of the underworld, that no performer could possess so much presence and range of ability without selling their soul to evil. It’s just too damn fine to be true…it’s a blood spattered and hair raising platter of nasty gothic tales and Finucane’s performance can spin in a moment from an industrial backed scream-fest to a whispered monologue every bit as terrifying.“ - Beat Magazine

From the art-house of Finucane & Smith comes Gotharama* - a blood soaked hour of skin-shedding theatre that writhes through dark fairy tales, gothic dreams, angels, demons, soul searing music, wild tales and physical madness.

Mutating before your very eyes ‘from sledgehammer to slow acting poison’, Moira Finucane, Queen Provocateur of Volcanic Performance, Australia’s “national treasure”, unleashes the gothic feminine in all her wicked ways. With the haunting, angelic and white-hot singer Clare St Clare, Gotharama pecks the eyes out of the gothic feminine in this intimate and unforgettable Franken-Salon. Visit the ravishing blood red boudoir for a dark and stormy night.

"Finucane's performance approaches the sublime, in the philosophical sense... heightened, hysterical brilliance." - Realtime
