Andreja Džakušič (Sl) graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana, where she also completed her master’s degree. She furthered her studies at the Vysoká škola výtvarných umení (Academy of Fine Arts and Design) in Bratislava, Slovakia, and the Akademia Sztuk Pięknych (Academy of Fine Arts) in Krakow, Poland. In 2004, she was artist in residence in Belfast. She is involved in socially engaged art and art in public space. She lives and works in Celje, Slovenia.
