Alexis O'Hara

Alexis O’Hara exploits allegories of the human voice via sound installation and audio performance. Her installation SQUEEEEQUE – The Improbable Igloo was the first acquisition of Basel’s Haus für Elektronische Kunst’s media art collection. She has two CDs, In Abulia (Grenadine Records, 2002) and Ellipsis (& records, 2010) and one book of poetry, Filthy Lies (Spaghetti Dance, 1999). Both of her musical projects with artist Stephen Lawson, 10,000 Horses and GuiGi, are recording this winter.
