Looking A –– Way Exhibition in Bratislava

This Thursday, the exhibition Looking A –– Way opens at the tranzit.sk gallery in Bratislava. It is a continuation of the exhibition The South Within Us with artists who were already featured at the Mesto žensk festival in 2022: Anna Dasović, Christian Guerematchi, Daniela Ortiz, Doplgenger, Ferenc Gróf, and Minna Henriksson. The exhibition is curated by Iva Kovač.

The works in the exhibition approach the issues of otherness and decolonization, focusing on the need for the decolonization of countries that make up what is known as Central and Southeast Europe. Many of these countries were historically part of European empires that thrived on colonial expansion and exploitation.

Free transportation from Vienna to the opening on Thursday is organized.
