Brina Klampfer freelances as a dramaturge, producer, director and actress. She graduated in comparative literature and literary theory at the Ljubljana Faculty of Arts. Under the mentorship of Vinko Möderndorfer, Draga Potočnjak, Boris A. Novak and Simona Semenič, she wrote drama texts, and later took to researching performative practices and developing her own projects. She mainly directs off-scene plays, colalborating with directors such as Matjaž Pograjc, Bojan Jablanovec, Primož Ekart, Tin Grabnar, Mare Bulc and others. Klampfer established and is president of KUD Krik, and manages the Vzkrik Festival of Dramatic Writing which has focused on producing dramatic writing workshops, drama platform and staged readings in the last years. In 2018/2019, she holds the Jernej Šugman Fund scholarship.
