Akın Fatih De Vos-Şahan

Akın Fatih De Vos-Şahan is a rapper who writes socially engaged texts. He is also a youth worker. He grew up in the social housing blocks of Rabot in Ghent and later studied Sociology at Ghent University. He is a true bridge-builder between people, communities and institutions. He is the chairman of the working group Diversity and Inclusion of the Ghent Arts Council. Among other things, he moderates a series of public debates at the Vooruit Arts Centre, together with Dominique Collet.
