Andrea Miltnerová

Andrea Miltnerová is a British dancer and choreographer of Czech origin who currently lives and works in Prague. For the past few years, she has been primarily dedicated to baroque dance and its creative fusion with contemporary dance: she is engaged in the reconstruction of baroque operas and the creation of her own performances, which are based on movement analysis and ethno-cho-reographic elements. Born and trained in London, she moved to Prague to dance with the Ballet of the National Theatre. As a performer, she collaborates with different Czech and foreign choreographers. The Dance of the Magnetic Ballerina was selected by the European network Aerowaves as one of their most important projects for 2013. The performance is part of the New Web project and Dance Prague in the regions 2013.
