Bojana Rogelj Škafar
Bojana Rogelj Škafar has a PhD in social sciences, and a BA in ethnology and art history. Since 1989, she is a museum counsellor and curator for folk art collections and image sources at the Slovenian Ethnographic Museum (SEM). She researches Slovenian folk arts and their interpretations, the interpretations of image sources to explore ethnological topics, as well as the visual culture and the history of SEM. She was head of the project Access to Cultural Heritage for Vulnerable Groups (2013–2015) and national co-ordinator of the project Sharing the World of Inclusion, Creativity and Heritage (2014–2018). Her bibliography extends to over 300 units. She is the author of many exhibitions, the latest being Folk Art Between Home and the World: The SEM Collection and the NSK Folk Art Collection of the Irwin Group (2021).
