Chris Rotsaert

Chris Rotsaert is an interdependent artist. She is the coordinator of the artistic workspace Manoeuvre. Her co-creative practice develops through long-term collaborations with diverse makers. This collective art practice is situational and examines different ways of living together. Manoeuvre is located in Ghent, has its roots in artisan textiles and is nomadically connected with various social and artistic initiatives, collectives and manufacturing places in and outside the city. The workspace initiated collaborative work with diverse institutions (Vooruit, the Design Museum, the KASK School of Arts, and the Museum of Fine Arts Ghent, among others) and both local and international artists, such as Grace Ndiritu, Hannelore van Dijck, Daniela Dossi, Ada Van Hoorebeke, Maartje Fliervoet, and Joel Gomez.
