Inga Cholmogorova
Inga Cholmogorova is an Amsterdam-based nomadic conceptual/visual and performance artist working worldwide. She mostly creates site-specific installations and live performances in situ. Inga has graduated from Fine Arts at the prestigious conceptual art school Rietveld Academy, and since then, she has been practicing martial arts, sumi-e, and butoh dance with various masters around Europe and in Japan. Sakurako is her butoh stage name. In her works, she analyses the fragile nature of human relations, exposing the roles we play daily. Cholmogorova creates presence-based works as an invitation to slow down, alter one’s perception, and experience the here and the now.
