Keiko Uenishi

Japanese artist Keiko Uenishi has collaborated with a number of musicians, including some famous ones, such as Nobukazu Takemura, Ryuichi Sakamoto, DJ Olive, Anthony Coleman and Sachiko M. She has performed at various important festivals, including Mutek 07 (Montreal), Interferenze Festival (St. Martino-Naples), Ultrahang 07 (Budapest), City Sonic 06 (Mons), as well as institutions, including the Whitney Museum and the P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Museum (New York), Fortescue Avenue and Tate Britain (London) and the Vienna Konzerthaus (Vienna). In 2004-05 she was the Harvestworks’ artist-inresidence (New York), and is currently an artist-in-residence at the Center for Computer Music at New York’s Brooklyn College. Helena Božič
