Kiki

Kiki is a twenty-year-old music artist from Slovenia who made her public debut in the 2021 Slovenska nota competition, where her song Punčka iz papirja (Paper Girl) won second place. The song’s narrative approach and occasionally dark sound attracted a lot of attention. Kiki won the 2021 Hit betona competition, which earned her a free video production for her second single, Jaz pa ne spim (But I’m Not Sleeping). In 2022, Radio Študent selected her to perform on their Klubski maraton tour. Kiki is working on her first album which, according to her, will be pop with elements of folk – and a few digressions. She sees her songs as stories set to music, and that is how she sings them.
