Kris Grey
Kris Grey is a New York City based gender-queer artist whose work exists at the intersection of communication, activism, community building, storytelling, lecture, and studio production. Grey earned a Bachelor of Fine Art from the Maryland Institute College of Art and a Masters in Fine Art from Ohio University. Grey has been a Fire Island Artist Resident, a teaching artist at The International Centre for Training in the Performing Arts in Brussels, Belgium, and the resident artist for the ANTI Festival for Contemporary Art in Kuopio, Finland. In 2015 Grey’s collaborative project Gender/Power was awarded a Baryshnikov Arts Center Residency, a Lower Manhattan Cultural Council Process Space Residency, and a Franklin Furnace Grant.
