Loredana Bianconi

Loredana Bianconi was born in Belgium and studied applied arts, philosophy, and literature in Bologna. After graduating in 1979, she worked as a film critic, as well as an organizer of film events and several international video festivals. She also studied theatre at the Nuova Scena. She then turned to the audiovisual sector and directed radio programs for RAI 3. She was also involved in scriptwriting for radio and television shows in New York. In the early 1980's, she started producing her own films, in particular documentaries and videos, such as La Mina (1989), Do you remember Revolution (1997), Devenir (2004), La Vie autrement (2005) and Oltremare (2017).
