Matthias Velle

Matthias Velle works as a dramaturg for numerous theatres and companies, such as KVS, NTGent, and Theater Rotterdam. He has been closely involved in several Ghent-based participatory projects at the community arts centre Victoria Deluxe and at the creative platform for kids and youngsters Kopergietery. Matthias is specifically interested in the intersections of urbanity, superdiversity and societal transition. As such, he is an outside eye for a number of artists connected to the BE PART project (Elly Van Eeghem, Maria Lucia Cruz Correia, and Roland Gunst).
