REGINA JÓSE GALINDO

Regina Jóse Galindo is a performer and writer living and working in Guatemala City. Galindo’s work has been presented at numerous international exhibitions after Harald Szeeman invited her to participate in the 49th Venice Biennale. Galindo was awarded a Golden Lion two years later, at the 51st Venice Biennale. She also appeared at biennales organized in Prague, Tirana, and Havana, and has worked with prominent international institutions, such as PS1 in New York, Le Plateau in Paris, etc. In addition to this, her work can be found in some important private and public collections, and is exhibited at the Museo d’Arte Contemporanea del Castello di Rivoli in Torino as well as at the Miami Art Museum.
