Tanja Lažetić
Tanja Lažetić works in the fields of photography, video, performance, ceramics and artist’s books. Her artwork has been featured in exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art in Ljubljana (four times at its U3 Triennial), the Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova (Ljubljana), the Neuer Berliner Kunstverein in Berlin, Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando in Madrid, the Museum Brandhorst in Munich, the Gagosian Gallery in Paris, in Beverly Hills, New York and elsewhere. She has received a number of awards, including the Bronze Award at the Nanjing International Art Festival in China, an award at the International Ceramics Triennial Unicom of Ljubljana, and the Rihard Jakopič Award. In the past ten years, Tanja Lažetić has published over twenty artist books. Her photography books are included in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and the Tate. She lives and works in Ljubljana.
