… in 1,500 characters, together with a biography… Mission impossible! Girls, I'm 65 – I can't squeeze my life into 1,500 characters. Even if I wanted to. Which I don't. There are too many things that I’ve experienced, reflected on, wanted, written and edited. And participated in – the formation of the City of Women Festival, for instance.

I don't know how I got involved with the City of Women; I guess it doesn't really matter. I think it was more the City of Women that got involved with me than the other way around. I would like to say that I (we) planned it. That's just not true! That was a period when many things were possible; we still lived in the atmosphere of "today, dreams are allowed". Everything and nothing at the same time was possible. As to the City of Women, everything was as we wanted it to be and communicated what we wanted, whilst nobody really knew what was it that these women wanted that time. A festival? Ok, have it! And we did! With a lot of hectic work, little money and plenty of incredible energy of Uršula Cetinski. At the time I was the director of the Office for Women's Policy and my only credit for the City of Women was that I had faith in Uršula's energy!

When I look back at that time twenty years ago, I still think that the best I could do was to let other people live their dreams. And I'm proud of it today, and I sincerely hope that there is a politician out there that will allow young people full of ideas and zeal to live their dreams too!

A biography? No, just a look at that time from today's perspective. And life goes on, as it should!
