Victoria Margree
Dr Victoria Margree (GB) is Principal Lecturer in the Humanities at the University of Brighton, UK. She is interested in radical politics, feminism, philosophy and literature. She has published books on fin de siècle popular fiction writer, Richard Marsh (Manchester University Press, 2018), and on the second wave radical feminist, Shulamith Firestone (Zero Books, 2018). Her latest book, British Women’s Short Supernatural Fiction, 1860-1930: Our Own Ghostliness (Palgrave, 2019) explores how the female ghost story functioned as a public forum for exploring women’s experiences during the period spanning first wave feminism and the achievement of suffrage. Margree lives in Brighton but spends time whenever possible in Munich.
