Guardian of the Frontier

Maja Weiss is the first female director in Slovenia to
direct a full-length film. Guardian of the Frontier is an exciting psycho-thriller
featuring three heroines who struggle with difficult social issues as they
explore and cross borders. The movie was awarded the Manfred Salzgeber Jury
Prize for “Most Innovative Film” at the Berlin Film Festival, and received a
special Film Debut Award at the 4th Miami Gay and Lesbian Film Festival.
