Love Song Dedication

Love Song Dedication is a deliberated and honest tribute to love. It works as an eruptive three-part
sonata comprised of a series of improvised structures, enlivened by voices, text and movement. The
ongoing narrative, filled with memories, is an intensive blend of discussion on love, everyday interactions
between lovers, and the observed patterns of behaviour between partners, enhanced with the
dramaturgy of love songs. It brings back the immortal meditation about love, falling in and out of love,
as well as reveals non-addressed allegories of the habits of love. Dennis uses tensions between space
and rhythm in order to round up the performance in a love story »her way« – far away from the candysweet
genre of clichéd romantic stories.
