Women on Women Awards Ceremony

Women have been systematically erased throughout history—their names forgotten, their achievements attributed to men, or pushed to the margins. History was written by men, and for men. But if we do not write it ourselves, our presence will remain invisible.

With the Women on Women Award, we aim to shed light on those who have been overlooked, emphasizing their strength, courage, and perseverance, and ensuring that their stories do not vanish into the silence of a patriarchal past. This is our way of resisting erasure—we write history in our own way.

This year's awardees were chosen by a jury of previous winners—Sonja Lokar, Tea Hvala, and Rejv Utopija—who balanced new initiatives, lifetime achievements, and the current struggles for equality.

The program will be curated by Glass Illka, and for a touch of sonic magic, the Crystal Queer Choir will perform!

Admission is free!

By the term women we mean cisgender, transgender, and intersex women.
