Samira Kentrić

Samira Kentrić holds a BA in visual communication at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana. Her art combines the public and the political with her intimate, often erotic language. She is a longstanding member of the Eclipse art duo that uses their own bodies and other bodies to express and highlight various topics in their performances and installations. She provided art content for numerous books and journals; among others, she created visual content for Dnevnik’s Objektiv and Sobotna priloga Dela. She has collaborated with different publishing houses and authors. She has received numerous awards and recognitions; among others, she received a jury mention for her art in her graphic novel Adna (2020) at the 13th Slovenian Biennial of Illustration.
