Bojana Dimitrovski

Bojana Dimitrovski was born in Belgrade but has been living and working in Slovenia since 2011. She created her first illustrations for the cult magazine Politikin Zabavnik. In the 1990s, she was living in Canada, where she was mainly active in the fields of computer illustration and useful illustration, and animation. In 2006, she graduated in painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade. She refocused on illustration. Among other works, she illustrated the ballad fairy tale Mesečinska struna (2015) by Svetlana Makarovič; her trilogy on Vilko the Cat was published in the Čebelica series. She regularly creates illustrations for Slovenian magazines for children and young people. She has received multiple awards for her work for Serbian and Canadian publishers.
