No tea, no dogs. (Think outside!)
Snježana Premuš and Ignaz Schick began their
collaboration with the project Amplified Body — Everything That Relaxes Me Is
Loud (which was presented at the Ljubljana Dance Theatre in the 2000–2001
season), where they used a portable radio microphone attached to the dancer’s
body that directly translated movements into sounds.
While in Amplified Body the duo mainly focused on abstract and electronic
materials, in No tea, no dogs they create an absurd world of little incidents,
rituals, and games between two people. They are trapped in their patterns and
in their small limited space. This is a world upside down—with objects and
actions going wild—and no one knows what is going to happen next…
