Tejal Shah

Born in 1979, Tejal Shah returned to Mumbai (ex Bombay) after finishing her s tudies abroad. In addition to being active in the field of performance and visual ins tallations – which were displayed at several exhibitions throughout the world, including Europe, the USA, Asia and Austr alia – she has collabor ated intensively with variety of activist, queer and feminis t groups. In 2003 Shah became a co-f ounder of Larzish - indiarights.org/humjinsi/ - India’s first international f ilm festival on the subject of gender and gender plur alism, since which time she has also worked as an organizer and curator.
