Sanne van Rijn

Sanne van Rijn is a classical ballerina, photographer,and one of the most striking contemporary Dutch theatre directors. She has staged various performances, first with ZTHollandia and subsequently with NTGent. Heraesthetics and piercing humorous vivisection of contem-porary man rest on the principle that “less is more”. In2000 she was awarded the VSCD Mime Prize and the Incentive Prize for Drama by the City of Amsterdam. Her workshave toured the globe, appearing at leading events andon notable stages of contemporary performing art.
