Doplgenger
Doplgenger is an artist duo from Belgrade, consisting of Isidora Ilić and Boško Prostran. They engage as film/video artists, researchers, writers, and curators. Their work deals with the relation between art and politics by exploring the regimes of moving images and the modes of their reception. Doplgenger relies on the tradition of experimental and avant-garde film and through some of the actions of these traditions intervenes in the existing media production or produces expanded cinema forms. Although their main medium is moving image, Doplgenger also employs texts, installations, performances, lectures and discussions. Their work is featured in public collections and has been shown internationally in art institutions and at film festivals.
