Melanie Bonajo

Born in the Netherlands in 1978, Melanie Bonajo lives and works in Amsterdam. She studied at the city’s Gerrit Rietveld Academy as well as at the School of Visual Arts in New York. In addition to being a photographer and space artist, she co-ordinates artistic projects. Between 2004 and 2006 she was the co-editor of Capricious photo magazine, and has had several solo exhibitions as well as participated in numerous group exhibitions in Europe and beyond. Melanie Bonajo’s work has been nominated and awarded on a number of occasions.
