Alen Ožbolt

Alen Ožbolt is the Associate Professor for sculpture and Vice-Dean for development projects at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana. He acquired his fine art education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana and Zagreb as well as the San Francisco Art Institute. Between 1984-1995 he was active in the art group Veš Slikar Svoj Dolg (V.S.S.D.). He has been a freelance artist since 1996. Ožbolt is a winner of different art scholarships and awards and the author of several theory texts on art, art places and phenomena.
