Irena Šumi

Irena Šumi, PhD., is an anthropologist researching the anthropology of ethics, nationalism, borders and boundaries; racism and antisemitism; post-colonial and post-social anthropological enterprises. She has been head of 23 research and expert projects at home and abroad; published in renowned science journals; and has books translated into several languages. Šumi is assistant professor for several courses at the Faculty for Social Work at the University of Ljubljana, and a lecturer at the Donau University in Krems and ASH in Berlin.
