Sara Ristić

Sara Ristić, born on February 1, 1998, in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, has had a great passion for performing and has been involved in theatre and TV since childhood. However, in 2015, she made the decision to position herself behind the camera by applying to the Department of Multimedia Directing at the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo. While pursuing her bachelor's degree, Sara's films have received awards and have been screened at numerous regional film festivals, including the Sarajevo Film Festival, International Film Festival Bottrop, Film Festival Cottbus, Leskovo International Festival of Film Directing, and others. Starting in 2019, she has organized a series of underground LGBTQI+ events, often serving as a host and/or DJ. Sara is currently in the final stages of completing her bachelor's film under the mentorship of Professor Aida Begić Zubčević.
