Fabrice Murgia
Fabrice Murgia is a director. He is the founder and Artistic Director of the theatre group Cie Artara. In 2009, he wrote and directed his debut piece entitled The Sorrow of the Ogres. That same year, he joined the permanent external staff of the Théâtre National Wallonie-Bruxelles, where he directed two plays in 2010, namely LIFE: RESET/Chronicle of an Exhausted Town and God is a DJ. In 2016, he became the General and Artistic Director of the Théâtre National Wallonie-Bruxelles and wrote and directed Black Clouds at Napoli Teatro Festival. In 2017, he shot his first short film Remember Me. He passes his knowledge on to new generations at workshops that he holds all over the world. In 2014, he was awarded the Silver Lion at the Venice Biennale for his theatre innovation.
