Emmanuelle Bercot is a French film director whose other encounters with the "seventh art" include that as a screenwriter and as an actress as well. Her first film Clément was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2001 Cannes Film Festival, whilst On My Way  [Elle s’en va] premiered in the competition section of the 63rd Berlin International Film Festival (2013).
