Maja Borg
For a decade, Borg has been exploring the semantics of visual language in her work, experimenting with form in order to push content beyond the limits of established thought. She uses the deconstruction of language to dismantle other systems – be they political, sexual, economic or cultural. This film represents the second time she has drawn on the essay “Craftsmanship” by Virginia Woolf, this time in order to deconstruct gender identity during her own pregnancy.
