Laura Hengehold is Professor of Philosophy at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, USA.  She is author of The Body Problematic: Kant and Foucault on Political Imagination and The Problem of The Second Sex: Simone de Beauvoir's Philosophy of Individuation, in addition to many articles on feminism, sexuality, and political theory. She is co-editor, with Nancy Bauer, of The Blackwell Companion to Simone de Beauvoir.
